Indy Children's Museum

We started the day up top at the big carousel. Corbin was okay as long as he was riding on a bench, but he didn't have near as much fun as Abbi.

Corbin admires Winnie-the-Pooh having a tea party.

Corbin looks at a transportation diorama.

Corbin and Abbi had a little tea party at the maze. Corbin was really trying to eat the plastic cookies though.

Boats, Digger, Couch Potato

The were a couple of new water tables that we found this trip that were for bigger kids. You could build your own boat and run it through a canal. There was also a bucket you could fill and dump. Big Fun!

Corbin loved driving this digger. Of course it was in high demand, so we had to talk about sharing and taking turns. They should really have hard hats in the work zone. Watch out for flying rocks!

An exhibit attempts to teach kids about healthy living. Corbin just wanted to watch TV with the big potato.

Roarrrrr, Dinosaur

The dinosaur exhibit was perhaps one of the coolest things I have seen. The exhibit is set up in a planetarium style and cycles through the day, complete with sound effects and lighting. Corbin was pretty shocked. I don't think he expected dinosaurs to be that big, or maybe he didn't make the connection with just seeing the bones.

Abbi and Corbin get up close to touch a dinosaur on the way in to the exhibit.

Playing Dinosaur

Corbin, Abbi and Tammy play with our newly acquired dinosaur masks.

Dinosaur Nest

Off of the main exhibit area, kids could dress-up as a dinosaur and sit in a nest with eggs. Corbin loved this area, and it was a nice escape from the storm. I was tickled that the museum staff in the exhibit actually put up umbrellas during the believeable storm.

After the Storm

Corbin got scared by the thunder and simulated lightning in the dinosaur exhibit, but afterwards he enjoyed looking up at the sky where the stars and the moon came out.

Trains Trains and More Trains

We pretty much ended the day in the Train Room, which Corbin was so excited about. He was tired but did not want to go home.

Indy Car

Corbin was scared to get in the Indy car last year. I couldn't get him out of it this year.

Planting with Mommy

Corbin was nice enough to help Mommy plant some of her Mother's Day flowers.

He was so proud of himself, almost every time he sees the plants now, he proclaims "I DID IT!!"
