March of Dimes Walk

Jessica and I participated in the March of Dimes Walk this weekend. We both managed to make it the full four miles. Thanks to everyone that sponsored us!

Ginger seems to be getting accustomed to Corbin being around. Though she's not the "baby" anymore, we're still trying to give here her fair share of attention.

Corbin's Rocking Chair

Daddy bought Corbin a rocking chair this weekend at the Lion's Club Auction. It is a bit big and needs a little paint, but it will be a lot a fun!

Daddy finished the floor in the last bedroom this week, so mommy was able to paint the trim. We were able to move the extra furniture out of the nursery, so Corbin got to lay in his crib for the first time. He loved the pooh mobile.


Corbin is ready to hit the beach and get some sand in his diaper in his little Hawaiian shirt.

The Baby in the Mirror

Today was Corbin's first day of major alert time. He was wide awake for chunks of time throughout the day. We played with rattles, the musical butterfly grandma bought, and stared at the baby in the mirror. We also played our first round of peek-a-boo today. Corbin seemed surprised at how mommy would disappear and then magically reappear. He was also surprised that his new found friend in the mirror could stick his tongue out too.

Our First Playdate

Well Corbin and Grayson got to hangout for the first time this Tuesday. It was a warm sunny day so their mommies took them for a stroll around the block.

One Month Old

Well it is hard to believe it has been four weeks since Corbin was delivered by c-section. His scheduled due date was tomorrow! We really weren't prepared for his early arrival, but I don't think the extra four weeks would have made us feel anymore ready. We are still adjusting to life with our little guy, but we are glad that Corbin is a happy and healthy baby boy.
